I chose a neurocognitive development foundational approach to teaching piano performance that supports students in the way their brain and body naturally learn. I don't know of any other teachers in the area approaching piano instruction this way. I do this in order to develop proper motor skills, while aiding students in learning to read music, and processing working memory into long-term memory. The progression I follow naturally leads to developing music theory discussions on keys, chords, transposing and more.
Please check out videos below of some of the students who started their musical journey with Studio 1 on 1.

To be able to have basic theory conversations and students making connections between the keys they are learning and doing something like transposing is a skill very few learn or are taught.
